Can my dell 4600 use a vga to rca adapter cable and work properly?

I was looking at making my TV my monitor and have seen lots of issues… My dell has the stock video card it came with…. Can I buy a cheap $3 or so adapter and run it to my (old) tv? My tv does not have SVIDEO but it has RCA (red,yellow,white) inputs.

This might not be much help in the long run but, if you are running off of dedicated graphics, then you might run into problems with lagging or “glitchiness”. If you have a dedicated card however, I see no problem with your setup. It would not hurt anything to try it, if that is the main issue.
