My cell phone has water damage?!?

On thanksgiving…i dropped my phone in the toilet. I tried drying it out with a hairdryer and it still didnt work. I also tried putting it in rice for about 3 days…it still didnt work. My dad put it on the vent for a day and it turned on and i could use it for a day. After using it for about a day, it would turn off and go to the Verizon Wireless screen and just stay there and not turn on. When it turns on,as soon as i start pressing buttons,it just goes back to the Vzw screen. I dont know what to do! does it have like a short circuuit or something? PLEASE help! BTW i have the UTstarcom blitz.

You cant fix it. You need to change only the battery.
